The San Francisco Mayor’s Office & United Way of the Bay Area were aiming to place 2,500 youth in summer jobs, as part of a White House job creation plan. They needed to enroll hundreds of youth in an online resume and job hunt system and build huge visibility for the program. All within 4 weeks.
We coordinated with key members of numerous teams, including the Mayor’s Office, Department of Children, Youth & Their Families (DCYF), the School District and United Way’s PR department, in-house graphic design, MatchBridge and volunteer outreach staff.
Within three weeks we pulled together 70+ volunteers, dozens of nonprofit agencies, and 500+ youth for a five workshops, resume review, interview prep and practice.
