In the realm of event planning there’s no such thing as being over-prepared. For this reason, Shelly Kim always has a backup plan, then a backup plan for her backup plan, ready in her fanny pack. Shelly’s can-do attitude and determination shine through her work in event planning.
Referred to the Kennedy Events as a “registration maven”, Shelly soon began working on other projects with the team, managing vendor logistics, sponsor procurement and fulfillment and, of course, registration. Shelly’s love for events began in 2007 when she started working on events for the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM), a media arts nonprofit based in San Francisco. In 2012, she continued planning events for nonprofits, advocacy groups, and public awareness campaigns with other San Francisco-based event companies. Her love for event planning has led her here, “I love that Kennedy Events is a team of strong, very smart, and capable men and women — I am very happy to be a part of it.”
